I work in watercolour, acrylic, egg tempera, graphite and pen and ink. Although I tend to start projects in a sketchy format I do like detail. I have studied icon painting and completed and passed the Society of Botanical Artists Diploma in Botanical Illustration. In addition I paint landscapes, seascapes and peoples apes. In addition to colour I also like a bit of bling in the form of gold or silver leaf.
I run art classes for U3A and also regular Wednesday Art Classes at Bridges Community Centre in Monmouth.
