From my studio on the borders of the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean I have spent many years being influenced by the natural world around me. The shadows, reflections colours and patterns in both the natural and manmade environment are the source of my inspiration.I dye and print on fabric and paper using both natural and synthetic dyes, plants rust and tea feature heavily in my work with the additional use of recycled packaging and papers. I print with fabric, lace and recycled papers to give texture to my work which is then layered and stitched.
I make pictures wall hangings, altered books, journals and sketch books.
