More Info
I discovered a love of this medium at the age of 14 when I was given a DSLR camera as a gift and had the opportunity to study photography for GCSE and at A-Level, and currently at Degree level at Birmingham City University.I enjoy capturing the world around me through my photographs. I spend a lot of time in the city photographing the ordinary and unattractive streets, buildings and alleyways, usually at night, and explore light to create mystery and intrigue. In contrast, my home in the Forest of Dean provides me with inspiration to explore my love of black and white landscape photography, and I love creating moody images with an emphasis on light and shade.
I have also been experimenting with printmaking, combining my photographs with the techniques of drypoint and screen printing to create mixed media artwork.
