Michael studied Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Wales and is now based in Gloucestershire where he works from his studio in the Forest of Dean.In recent years, Michael has created large wooden pieces for private and public spaces using both traditional and contemporary techniques. His sculptures have a human element that goes beyond the material object. His work often portrays the human form in a playful way, exploring scale and ordinary moments. The sculptures capture a movement or feeling, suggesting a life within.
