More Info
Ann enjoys experimenting with paper, paint and fabric and rarely includes human figures in her work preferring to simply suggest evidence of human habitation saying, "Abandoned garden forks, bits of trellis and old gates contribute not only exciting and contrasting marks to a composition, these also reveal mysteries and stories of the past inhabitants.”In 2018, she published 'Wild Margins, Drawings and Inspirations' which continues to sell through Amazon. In 2024, ,'Wild Margins 2, After the Storm' focuses on the River Wye and surroundings , highlighting the challenges faced by our waterways. WM2 is a signed limited edition of 200 copies. Currently available from The Courtyard, Hereford, and Ann's exhibitions.
Ann's latest publication, 'A Book of Black', features her inspirations and methods when using black (her 'constant studio companion') in a range of ways from oil and acrylic to charcoal, collage and textile.
