My first foray into knitting was in 2005 whilst on maternity leave. Having mastered the basics, I became completely ‘hooked’ by the variety of yarns and the patterns available. For me, my pleasure comes from creating something new and original. Rarely are any of my items the same, as patterns are tweaked, colours alternated or embellishments added.
In 2013 I was introduced to knitting with silver wire. This has opened up a whole new world for me with household decorations and jewellery creations. I never use a pattern for knitted wire, so originality is guaranteed and you will be certain that your piece is unique.
