Decorative and functional hand built & thrown ceramics.

More Info

I studied ceramics in London and taught art and pottery in schools and colleges.

Moving back to the Forest of Dean I became a member of the pottery collective Clay Hill Potters, set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the River Severn. This has given me the opportunity to attend demonstrations and workshops by invited eminent potters and to share skills with other member potters.

My work is both functional and decorative made from stoneware clay and decorated layering slip and underglaze colours. I mainly make flower bricks, jugs, bottles, vases and bowls inspired by abstract artists and the seasonal colours of the surrounding landscape.

You can find my work at: The Sanctuary Gallery, @thesanctuary_gallery and New Brewery Arts, @newbreweryarts
